yay!

all of my january items are now completed... what a wonderful feeling

this bag is for a swap I am involved in... it is a slightly fancier version of your regular cotton string shopping bag... but still has those amazing stretching capabilities

I started with a flower from an old afghan pattern, then made the rest up as I went along!

lace swap bag

BrownBerry was asking me how I get the time to work through my projects so quickly?

I'm a SAHM and my kids are on summer holidays. Every morning we go to the park. I take my craft with me, and let them play as long as they like. Some days I get a few hours worth of uninterrupted crafting! Bliss

If we stayed at home, there is no way I would get any craft done. They would be trashing the house, and I would be desperately trying to keep up with that vicious circle that is 'housework'.

I've also started to knit/crochet in public more... or even if I am visiting friends. If we are just going to gossip while the kids play together, I might as well be doing something useful with my hands... right???

I have my pom poms ready to cheer the rest of you on :)

This bag is stunning, you should be so proud. I too have started taking my knitting when we go to visit friends and now some of the other women are bringing knitting too. It's a movement!!
