such wonderful encouragement
Thanks to everyone for all your wonderful encouragement, both here and on my blog. The afghan is steaming ahead and I'm now at the halfway mark. I've been very disciplined with it. I don't let myself sit down for more than a few minutes unless I have the project in hand. I keep telling myself.... IF YOU'VE GOT TIME TO SIT, YOU'VE GOT TIME TO HOOK

Oh my goodness - it's GORGEOUS! The colours, the thickness - it's turning out beautifully!
Absolutely beautiful. Makes me want to learn crochet.
Woo-hoo goldie. You go girl!! I'm lovin the colors together and I'm not much on green and pink (though looks more mauve to me on my screen), but the colors are great and your getting pretty far!! Can't wait to see the finish project!
