My Q2 Challenge item

I'm all for a challenge; it just took me awhile to decide which blanket I wanted to try! In the end, the How To Log Cabin blanket from Mason-Dixon Knitting seemed the least annoying, the easiest to pick up and put down, and I like that I can end it anytime I get sick of it/ decide it's big enough (whichever comes first).

It's for my friends' wedding in September, but thanks to the Challenge, I feel it will be done by the 30th. Let's hope.

Progress so far: about a week's worth of working a few strips a night.

It's about 2' by 2' right now, maybe a little less. The colors are better than pictured here, because I used my laptop to take the picture.
