Rainbow Afghan Progress

Hi, last Friday I had the ladies from Knit4Charities here, we're a Yahoo group that make knitted and crocheted items for charity. I was bored with what I was making so I started playing around with yarn, this is what eventuated, it's going to be a Rainbow Afghan. It's simple granny squares, 2 rows 8 ply white, 2 rows colored feather yarn, then 2 rows white 8 ply. Crochet the four squares together with colored feather yarn, then add a row of feather yarn around the outside. Then add 2 rows white 8 ply. It's very simple and very effective. I like the softness of the feather yarn and the bright colors.

Here's what I've done so far.

Thank you for the comments Marce advising that I am doing everything right, and how exciting that I could go in the quarterly draw! My crochet and my animals are my passion and I'm SO enjoying being part of this group already!
