I'm happy to report another FO! This has been a non-stop project time for me, as there are so many family birthdays in the first 3 months of the year.
I have completed the Nomad Hat and Scarf from Fall 2007 Interweave Knits. This was a birthday gift for my Mom, and I was able to get a couple great pics of Mom wearing it at her b-day party tonight. I used Moda Dea "Tweedle Dee" yarn (2 skeins).
So, here is my list for the year as it stands now - with some updates:
January:
8th: Sister's birthday - washcloths and scrubbies to make gift basket with soaps. DONE Jan 6th
17th: Brother-in-law's birthday - Helmet Liner (was scarf) - he never has something warm on his neck! DONE Jan 12th
30th: Hot Cocoa Swap Partner's "Blah Buster Buddy" - Mr. Ram - DONE Jan 30th (nothing like 11th hour needle felting! - poke faster!)
February:
17th: Mom's birthday - Nomad Hat and Scarf from Interweave. - DONE Feb 16th
19th: Friend Joyce's birthday - "Fetching" from Knitty. Yarn is picked out, pattern is printed, and with a little bit of luck, I'll have time to knit these in the next two days.
29th: Megan's Hat (for a friend's niece who has Leukemia)- see "Hats Off to Megan" DONE Jan 20th
March:
19th: Friend Scott's birthday - wine bottle cozy (which will be gifted with the wine!)
April:
30th: Charity Item (not sure which charity yet)
May:
28th: Dad's Birthday - hiking socks (thick)
June:
30th: Hubby's birthday - sweater
July:
30th: Charity item (not sure which charity yet)
August:
29th: Myself - tank top (have wanted to knit myself one for a couple years now!)
September:
30th: Poppy - Winter Mittens
October:
31st: For the house - Knit felted pumpkins - saw them on a blog last Halloween, and I really want a few for the house!
November:
15th: Parent's House - table runner for the holiday table
December:
25th: Dad's Gift - Helmet Liner - Perfect while snow-blowing.
25th: Mom's Gift - Mittens
25th: Sister - Calorimetry - asked for one!
25th: Brother-in-law - Winter mittens
