Leigh's updates for Feburary

Well I started the month really well with 3 FO's but my son had an accident at school on feb 13 and I haven't really knitted since. You would think with him in the hospital for a week I would of gotten alot done. I brought it with me but never picked the needles up. The chairs leave something to be desired and very hard to knit in.

He broke his left femur and had two titanium rods put in his leg. He's been home over a week now and it stil hurts. Good news is that the x-rays today show that its healing really nicely. Thank goodness.

I do have one more scarf on the go and it might be done by the end of the week. Maybe I will squeak by with 5 this month as month.

Happy knitting!

Leigh Ann

I'm sorry to hear about your son. If I were you, I wouldn't worry about "catching up." Just start doing what you can again.

I agree - you've already done THREE Fo's! Don't worry about feeling behind, just do something nourishing and enjoyable - it sounds like there have been some family stresses lately - don't push yourself too much - you're doing great! :)

Three projects already done and a son who's been recuperating... I'd say that February is a success already! Don't expect anything more:-)

Thanks guys! I just love to knit but don't have the time. Maybe during the March break! I'll play catch up. I think I will have my son's sweater done by then. I just have to finish sewing it.

Having a child in the hospital is so difficult. Just take care of yourself and him, it is great to hear that he is healing well.

Wow! I just read about your son's accident. Glad he's home and all is progressing well.
