Good Day to Everyone. I am going to make a small adjustment to my list for this month. I am removing the knitted and fulled hat for Carol, and replacing it with two other items. The yarn that I thought that I wanted to use for Carol's hat is simply not speaking to me. Instead, I will knit hats for Bob and Bill for Christmas 2008.
An item not on my list, but that I was successful with is a felted bowl, made using the pattern on our free pattern list. I was a bit hesitant to try it, as my success with felting/fulling has not been real good lately, but I was pleasantly surprised. It is now drying, and in a few days will become a gift for me or my brother. I am posting detailed images of the process that I used to help insure my success. Oh what a neat bowl! I'm glad the felting worked out for oyu this time! It can stressful sometimes wondering it its gonna work or not...lol Good job!
