This is a simple four by two rib (as the name suggests). I knit for about 6.5" and then decreased every row, first eliminating every other knit rib section, then the purls, then the last knit section. This will go to Ron next month for his birthday.
A creative collective for handmade gifters getting together to chant, "Not This Year!" This year, we leave behind the stress of last-minute finishes. We will create gifts AHEAD of schedule, and we will laugh in the face of deadlines. If you want to knit/sew/crochet some gifts each month and take the holidays off, or if you have a project that might take you all year, come JOIN US!. We've got our pom poms ready!

Looks great! Love the colorway :)
Excellent hat!
Love how it striped, which colorway did you use? Great job!
Very nice.
Ron . . isn't he the one you said wore the last hat you knit him to bits? Nothing like an enthusiastic giftee for motivation!
Actually, I was running low on the Autumn Leaves (?) colorway so I striped in a little Olive that I had left over from an earlier project.
The striping is so perfect, I thought it was just how the yarn colorway came together! Nicely done!
