I started these mittens at the beginning of April. They've been on my year long gift along list since the beginning of the year and I'm finally making progress on them. I think part of what helps is that I've decided to knit them both at the same time. I'd say they're about 30 % done. I'm using the Big Braid cable from Interweave's cables stitchonary and I'm very happy with how it's going.

Other info: I was actually having trouble trying to decide what to do for my fifth project for this month. Even if it doesn't get started, I at least wanted to have five things in mind. Well, the Q2 challenge has pretty much solved that dilemma!

Wow! You suckered me in with the cables..love the purse/bag! Good Luck with the Cable throw, thats gorgeous and definitely a big knit!! Wish I could knit good enough to even be brave to try something like that..but sure is beautiful!!
lol I totally didn't notice how many cables were in this post. Awesome. I'm nervous about the blanket, but that's kind of the point right?
