Q1 Challenge Is Finally Finished!!!!

Made it by the skin of my teeth!

I have finished two identical Calorimetries for my nieces!
Woo Hoo! It's nice to be able to get stuff done and post it here. They have seen a picture of it on my blog but they don't know it's for them. They read my blog all the time and I can't say a thing about them. But I'm just so excited that I have two presents finally finished!

Thanks for running this!

arghhhh.... slow down march!

where is the year going? time seems to just disappear!

have finally completed calorimetry and fetching for my sister's birthday... both made in the same charcoal coloured reclaimed wool

made modifications to each... details are on my blog

can highly recommend calorimetry as a quick knit... less than two hours... doesn't get much better than that!

February progress so far

It's been so great to be knitting again after my January injury, I have gone a little crazy.   I added the Koolhaas hat after finding some wonderful Malabrigo at a LYS, but not sure the photo can do justice to the subtle variations and richness of the brown colors.
I decided to wait to felt the clogs until I know who will be getting them.  But since I'm so curious to see how the embroidery felts, I may throw them in the wash today!

Calorimetry was great fun to knit - a great design.
I knit Skip while watching basketball over the weekend.

Finished Object #1

Ahhhh!!! I finally finished Jan. object number 1 and then somehow lost the picture of it! However, I pleased to announce I actually finally finished one of the three objects I had committed to this month and am hot on the trail of item number two. The finished object is a calorimetry (pattern from Knitty) that was to be gifted to my little sister this month. Done and gifted!!

Next object there will be photos!
