Angie's January Update. 2 FO's & accepting the First quarterly challenge!!

Well so far so good, am actually making progress , this gift a long sure does keep you focused, am loving setting my self goals!! so progress so far is:

finish broad ripple socks for Annie FINISHED!!
finish mini skull tote for sis: FINISHED!!!
finish branching out scarf for Julia: STILL IN PROGRESS HALF WAY THERE.
knit 1 pr socks for sock it to me pal: 1 DOWN 1 TO GO.
knit 1 calorimetry for me: NOT STARTED YET.

But in addition have made 6 sets of stitch markers, 5 SETS for the stitch marker exchange and 1 as a gift for a swap pal which will be sent out in her package later this month. Also FINISHED my Booga bag which has been in my basket waiting to be felted for ages, so have actually got that done too!! AND... have completed 1 wave ripple mitt the other to be completed this month too, this is a CHRISTMAS 2008 GIFT!!! The first gift for the first quarterly challenge!!

2nd FO Gift!

I managed to finish my 2nd giftie FO on the 5th, as scheduled! :) This brings my total this month to two!






I also finished one of the parts of the baby shower gift. I didn't KNOW this was going to be part of the gift until it was finished, though.



How cute is that? I'm currently working on the baby cardi. I'm going to visit the stash for the bib yarn, and the hat and booties will be made out of the same yarn as the cardi, then I'm done with January's gifts! :)

Update: Jan, 5, 2008

I have an update! Actually, I should have posted January 1st, but things were busy.



For all intensive purposes, I am done with my January knitting! lol. I finished Coronet on January 1st. All I have left to do is knit the toe on my Strawberry Lime socks, but in the interest of not screwing it up and having to rip the whole thing out (because I just know that would happen), I am putting it down in favor of going to bed... but in the morning? Finished socks. I was just invited to a baby shower, so now I'm going to have to knit some baby gifts. Ideally, I'd like to knit a little layette set, but I'd settle for some bibs out of the Mason-Dixon Knitting book, or maybe some burp cloths and washcloths.
