My goal for February? To have completed 10 skeins on Ripple for Devyn to be gifted Christmas '08. I think I can do that!

Here's a green Syncopation Bag... I loved this pattern and definitely have more in my future (have the yarn already). This is for my gift drawer... and done well ahead of my 1/31 deadline!

One reason to sit with the foot on the table...the other foot is hidden LOL! Finished socks to show... I finished this pair on Saturday. It is done in Regia Canadian Colours and the pattern will be featured in February as Sockathon Sock of the Month.
I can also cross this one off my list of gifts. It is put away until my birthday on Feb 21
New things to knit - update of January list:
1 pair of socks for my husband (March 13)
1 pair of socks for my youngest son (March 20)
Secretly I had this on my knit list for early February, but for some strange reason I lost my wrist warmers. I had to knit a new pair, though I usually wear one of them - right hand only. (that is because I am having Guyon Tunnel Syndrome, and the warmth of the wrist warmer usually takes away the pain.) The yarn was a gift - as thank you for a test knit from Denise and the design is my own.
February 29 (yeah for a Leap Year extra day!)
March 31
April 30
I'm going to go shopping in my stash this weekend for inspiration for the rest of the year... yeah for stash planning at the same time.

1. fingerless mittens/wrist warmers for Swap-bot exchange (must be mailed by 1/18)
2. hat for brother Peter's birthday (must be mailed by 1/29)
3. hat for brother Alex's birthday (must be mailed by 1/30--no they're not wierd twins or something: they were born 4 years and 1 day apart)
4. finish lap robe for Ria (should be mailed in mid-February)
5. Make 1 pair fingerless mittens for 2008 Christmas
I love seeing the entries on everyone's lists--I find all these other projects very tempting.

And here is my progress so far on the Noro Scarf:
Happy Knitting!

After weaving in the ends, I decided to wait until after baby is born to attach the ribbon ties. Because I'm not sure how much of a hassle it would be to tie them behind her. It would be cute, sure... but probably a pain.
It's okay for me to make socks for myself this month, as I have made that many socks for others recently, I deserve a couple of gifts!
None of these projects will require yarn purchasing, so to motivate myself I will buy sock yarn when these are all done! That should get me going.

Sorry I am a day late putting up my January list. I just got home from vacation in North Carolina. Here are my January projects:
I think that is all for January. I have made progress on the baby blanket already while on vacation, I'll post some photos tomorrow.
Happy Knitting everyone.
Next time I will crochet the beads in, they were kinda an after thought...lol
These bags really hold alot and they do make nice gifts. I hope to get one made in my colors for myself as I gave the last one away...make good bags to carry all the packages to the post office too. My son's girlfirend uses one to carry all her yarns and stuff, boy does she have it stuffed, looks like a barrel bag instead..lol
